To access the platform and participate in our skills development activities, you need to register for an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete. 

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. 
It is strongly recommended that you do not share your account details, particularly your username and password. We accept no liability for any losses or damages incurred as a result of your account details being shared by you. If you use a shared computer, it is recommended that you do not save your Account details in your internet browser.

The platform includes text, graphics, images, videos, and other materials ("content"). All content on the platform is provided for informational and educational purposes only. Unauthorized use of the content may violate copyright, trademark, and other laws.

Enrolling in our courses on the platform may require payment of fees. By enrolling, you agree to pay the specified fees for the selected course. Payments are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.

All pricing information provided on the ACENET website and / or portal is correct at the time of going online. We reserve the right to change prices and alter or remove any special offers from time to time and as necessary

Platform users and learners must adhere to a code of conduct that promotes a positive, professional, supportive and welcoming learning environment. By participating in our skills development activities, you agree to abide by the “ACENET Code of Conduct” and accept the procedures by which any Code of Conduct incidents are resolved.

Any form of harassment, discrimination, or disruptive behavior may result in the suspension or termination of your account.

Notify us (training@ace-net.ca) immediately if you witness a breach of our Code of Conduct. 

The platform and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by [Organization Name] and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property or proprietary rights laws.

We may provide access to ACENET and / or Digital Research Alliance of Canada Computing advanced research computing and software resources ("resources"). You agree to comply with the Terms of Use outlined by the Digital Resource Alliance of Canada.

These terms include but are not limited to responsibility for activity and data storage associated with your account, not introducing software that may compromise the integrity of the systems, and using the systems in an efficient manner that does not impede the access of other users to the best of your ability.

ACENET and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from your use of the platform.
